It’s easy to let the things that keep you healthy go when you’re stressed. “Not enough time to care for myself, gotta finish this project”, you think. “I’ll skip the gym, the good dinner, the good sleep.” Unfortunately, that slide is what will make your life harder, not easier. When things get tough, self care is even more important. It might get a little shorter, as in 30 mins of workout instead of an hour, but don’t stop. Focus on the things that keep you running, good self care, good connections, good conversations, and the rough times will be easier to bear.
